To strengthen our Internal Audit Department, we are looking for a motivated Senior Auditor (f/m/d) at our Global Corporate Center in Düsseldorf/Germany. Audits are conducted at our national and international group companies.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
Job responsibilities: Independent performance of audits (on case-by-case basis as audit Coordinator / audit lead) including following tasks:- Prepare and conduct operational, financial and risk management audits, follow-ups, compliance reviews and investigations, and consulting projects, also including complex projects involving the collection, analysis and interpretation of extensive data to arrive at an informed audit opinion
- Identify and assess operational and financial risks, document audit findings, develop appropriate recommendations (actions) and write corresponding audit reports
- Present audit findings and recommended actions to management
- Evaluate the functionality and efficiency of internal control and risk management systems
- Detect process optimization potentials
- Contribute to the further development of audit programs and practices
Your profile and qualifications:
Job skills and qualifications:- At least 5 years of professional experience in Internal and/or External Audit, compliance or similar function within in an international manufacturing company
- Degree in business administration, finance, or economics
- CIA, CISA, or CPA certification or similar is preferred
- Profound kledge of financial accounting according to IFRS
- Strong kledge of auditing practices and internal control standards
- Profound German and English language skills, both oral and in writing, and preferably a further language
- Independent, structured, and highly analytical working manner
- Ability to work in a team, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and assertiveness
- od command of MS Office, SAP, data analytics and passion for IT
- Proficiency with auditing software
- Willingness to travel within Germany and abroad
