Meet your team

The BTP HANA & Persistency organization is a global organization dedicated to delivering data management solutions that address customers’ unique and competitive business requirements. You will work in a multinational team responsible for security-relevant services, as well as the overall security and compliance posture of the BTP HANA & Persistency portfolio. This position is a great opportunity to get direct insight into how security and compliance is implemented in a major SAP product and you will have a direct influence on improving the security and compliance of a major SAP product.

What you’ll do

As part of the BTP HANA DCE Security and Compliance Team in BTP HANA & Persistency organization, you will be working in a diverse, fast-paced environment focusing and supporting product security architects on the following topics:

  • You will support our security architects for various security topics e.g. research & presentation for new technologies, requirements and frameworks, as well as analyzing and evaluating other cybersecurity and product security topics
  • Support the team in Thread Detection and Security Monitoring improvement topics, like driving automation and integration of Kyverno Security-Policies + Diki-Scans
  • Programming of security related tools or scripts.
  • Diverse administrtive and operational task in our complex SAP HANA Cloud environment
  • Maintenance of internal documentation and SharePoint Spaces

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Computer science, Software Engineering, Information Security, Cyber Security or related fields
  • Computer skills: Experience in at least one programming language, Office 365
  • Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
  • Soft skills: Quick Learner, passionate, motivated and self-managed
  • Others: Interest in IT Security and Product Security

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
