Berlin Spoken Word
Berlin Spoken Word is a weekly open mic night welcoming performers in any language. This event has established itself as providing a friendly and familiar atmosphere for poetry, prose, song, verse, comedy and more, and is very popular with the international community of Berlin.
A cross-pollination of poets, writers and comedians
Berlin Spoken Word (BSW) invites but is not limited to spoken word artists, poets, musicians, singer-songwriters, rappers and storytellers. The show is hosted in English, but performances in all languages are welcome! There is a weekly theme, but this is merely a suggestion and is not mandatory.
Expect to witness all kinds of curated comedy and poetry crossovers and more, full of metaphors, absurdism, hilarity and extreme sincerity. How funny can poets be? Can comedians wax poetic? Find out at Berlin Spoken Word!
All poetic experience levels are welcome at BSW, there is only one rule - no apologies, only poems!
