Ravennaschluct - A magical Christmas market
Immersed in a sea of lights, visitors are sure to get in the Christmas mood when surrounded by the festively decked out wooden huts and greeted by the smell of mulled wine and cinnamon in the air. However, the true magic of the Christmas market in Ravennaschlucht begins to unfold when the snow starts falling, blanketing everything in white.
Stalls offer everything from Bratwurst and local delicacies to handmade wooden carved sculptures, glass-blown decorations, woollen socks and more! After taking a leisurely stroll through the Christmas market in Ravennaschlucht, warm up by one of the big fires or try out the little ice-rink while listening to some classic Christmas tunes played on an alphorn.

Candles, snow, and winter magic at this Christmas market
For a unique Christmas spectacle, be sure not to miss out on one of the light shows, projected on the pillars of the Ravenna viaduct after darkness falls.
For the more daring among us, there is a three-kilometre winter hike from Hinterzarten, through the Löffeltal winter landscape to the Christmas market in Ravennaschluct. This beautiful walk offers visitors the chance to see the beautiful nativity path, complete with sculptures, up close and in person on arrival at the Christmas market.

Attending the Ravennaschlucht Christmas market
Be sure to dress warmly, as the weather can change at the drop of a hat and temperatures drop rapidly once night falls in the Black Forest. The Ravennaschlucht Christmas market is open every Advent weekend until 9pm on Friday and Saturday and 8pm on Sunday.
