The 23rd edition of the hot air balloon festival is set to run from January 29 - February 5. Located by the promenade of Bad Wiessee, the official ceremonial opening with a balloon-christening by IKH Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria will take place on the first day. Afterwards, 20 hot air balloons of different sizes will be available for daily passenger rides, rising up to lofty heights and offering stunning views of the valley.
