Wiesbaden City Festival

The ever-popular Wiesbadener Stadtfest (Wiesbaden City Festival) returns to the city, as locals and visitors alike come together to celebrate the end of summer and the start of autumn. 

Expect to find everything at this festival (and we do mean everything!), from a lovely handicraft market and a motor show to a full live music programme, a bustling marketplace and a Thanksgiving festival.

The best of Wiesbaden at the city festival

Taking place during the last weekend of September, the Wiesbadener Stadtfest offers plenty of entertainment, fun activities and culinary delights for the whole family. Whether you enjoy relaxed shopping at the local marketplace, sampling international or German food, listening to live music or discussing vintage cars, this city festival has something for everyone.

The autumn marketplace offers artisan and handicraft products, like wine, jewellery and art, for all tastes, while the motor show sees car dealers from across the region come together to present the latest trends in the automotive industry. The Thanksgiving Festival, also known as the harvest festival, offers visitors the chance to learn all about local products and meet with their food producers while purchasing the freshest produce. 

What’s more, Joris’s performance, as well as all of the other stage events such as fashion shows, hairdressing demonstrations and the motor show, are free to attend and enjoy.  

Attending the Wiesbaden City Festival

As hundreds of thousands of visitors and locals flock to the city for the festival, we advise that you use public transportation to arrive at each location or walk! Safety is important, which is why visitors are requested to carry small bags and be prepared to have them checked.
