Your responsibilities and tasks:

  • Support to bid / proposal preparation and management, such as review, development or identification of appropriate contracting model and / or terms and conditions; managing stakeholder review / approvals for Procurement
  • Develop Contract templates (various: including formal, short form, and annual contracts) - Drafting, Evaluation, Negotiation and Execution, as well as Disclosure Agreements, Purchasing Agreements with Legal
  • Act as contractual “middleman” between the procurement organization’s employees and internal customers, ensuring timely review and approval / reconciliation of variations
  • On all standard and nonstandard contracts, provide red lined recommendations and often negotiate directly with attorneys, commercial or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects
  • As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to category managers and project managers or other operational staff, including training to new project managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures
  • Lead and develop all claims procurement strategy across the Division and Regions ensuring cost and claims efficiency expectations are met
  • Set up processes and tools with Divisions and Regions to track claims for GEA procurement contracts towards suppliers
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies
  • Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures. Identify areas of recurrent pressure
  • Work with Risk Management Department / Finance to coordinate contractual insurance requirements
  • Work with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, export controls etc. impact of terms and term options
  • Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation
  • Supports digitization of contract storage and achieving management tool and gives guidance as Procurement

Your profile and qualifications:

  • ​University, Master degree in Economics
  • Diploma in Contract Management (CCCM) is or legal degree is a clear advantage
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement processes
  • Legal and contract management experience is essential
  • Profound k how of international contract management
  • Cultural Awareness
  • Experience with implementation of corporate procurement
  • Work experience both in complex matrix and centralized organizations
  • Profound project management skills
