Looking for a friendly, personal atmosphere in which to learn German? Look no further. Established in 2011, Sprachsalon is a cosy, independent language school located in Kreuz-Kölln, the cool neighbourhood at the border of Kreuzberg and Neukölln.

While Sprachsalon’s small class sizes - between six and 12 students per group - ensure that you get plenty of valuable attention, their engaged, passionate and qualified teachers make every effort to ensure that their students thrive.

Course Options

Not only do they keep class sizes small, but they have options to suit all budgets and schedules. The school offers a range of different courses, including intensive, semi-intensive, evening and weekend courses. It is also possible to book private tutoring and in-house courses for companies.

Alongside these regular language courses, Sprachsalon also offers two additional courses for students who have already attained a higher level of German. These literature and conversation courses enable students to not only improve their language skills but also learn more about German culture, literature, art and politics.

Facilities

Sprachsalon’s warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. The reception area offers a cosy space where you can sit and enjoy a drink before class and, when the weather’s warm, you can take advantage of the nearby park.

The classrooms are generously sized, light and airy, and are equipped with all the things you need for language learning. Tea is also available, free of charge, for students who need a little pick-me-up during class, and there are dozens of great cafes and bars within easy walking distance to grab something to eat or drink.

In addition to teaching German as a foreign language, Sprachsalon also offers courses in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, and Arabic, as either evening courses or private sessions.
