The bright and lovingly furnished holiday home "Cologne Private House" is located in a residential area on the outskirts of Cologne, only a few metres from the Rhine.

The 85 m² holiday home consists of an OPEN living room with 3 single beds, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one of which has a sofa bed for 2 people) and a bathroom, thus offering space for 7 people.
Other amenities include air conditioning, a fireplace and 2 satellite TVs.

From the flat, you can walk to a supermarket in 4 minutes (300 m), a bakery is a 14-minute walk or 1.1 km away and cafés and restaurants can be found in 15-20 minutes on foot (1.3-1.8 km). The banks of the Rhine are only 220 m from the property and invite you to take relaxing walks to Cologne city centre, which is 7.3 km along the river, but can also be reached in 15 minutes by tram, after a 10-minute walk to the tram stop (750 m). The famous "Kölner Dom" is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Germany, and the centre offers a variety of bars and restaurants serving local cuisine and the famous local beer "Kölsch". Cologne-Bonn International Airport is a 25-minute drive (21 km) from the accommodation. Street parking is available.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price. Pets are not allowed. 2 extra mattresses can be provided on request. The homeowner speaks German, English and Italian, as well as some French, Spanish and Portuguese. The former farming and fishing village of Niehl has been part of Cologne since 1888. Today, it is one of the up-and-coming Veedel (neighbourhoods) of the cathedral city and is particularly popular with young people as a place to live, as it is a medium to upscale residential area. The highlight of Niehl is certainly its location directly on the Rhine. Here you can even experience a real holiday feeling, because Niehl has a sandy beach. The sandy shore stretches with its bays over three kilometres and connects the entrance of the harbour basin with the Mülheimer Brücke bridge. It is not only the proximity to the Rhine that makes Niehl an attractive district. The Cologne racecourse, the Cologne Zoo and also the Flora are in the immediate vicinity and are among the other highlights. The excellent infrastructure also confirms its popularity. Niehl is ideally connected to the city centre in both the north and south via the KVB light rail network. Line 16 Sebastianstraße runs in the south, while line 12 runs in the north on the route from Weidenpesch along the Fordwerke, via Niehl to Merkenich, which is 200 metres from COLOGNE PRIVAT HOUSE. By car, you can reach the A 1 motorway in just a few minutes via the Köln-Niehl junction, and the A 57 is not far away either. Public transport: Bus stop in 100 m, line 147. Tram lines 12 stop Köln Niehl and line 16 stop Sebastiansstr. There are supply possibilities in 200 m distance. Supermarket, bakery, restaurants, ice cream parlour etc. are in the immediate vicinity
