Role: At Zalando, you will standardize data excellence in the lab environment, acting as the bridge between garment expertise, data collection, and engineering to empower Applied Science teams in improving size and fit for customers. Responsibilities: - Ensure data excellence by owning data collection quality and establishing standard operating procedures. - Bridge fashion and technology by collaborating with lab, engineering, and Applied Science teams to improve sizing algorithms. - Drive innovation by leading ideas from concept to execution and optimizing lab workflows. - Elevate sizing solutions by applying technical fashion knowledge to feed raw data into meaningful sizing outcomes. Qualifications: - Background as a fashion expert with a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Design, Garment Production, or equivalent. - Strong quality‑first mindset with exceptional attention to detail in garment construction, fit, and data accuracy. - Ability to translate complex fashion concepts to engineers and data scientists. - Entrepreneurial, proactive spirit with a proven track record of independently leading projects.
