Your responsibilities
- As part of the Automation Team within the engineering department, you take on challenging tasks in basic and detail engineering for electrolysis projects, focusing on green hydrogen (AWE), chlor-alkali, and HCl electrolysis technologies.
- Within the multidisciplinary team, your tasks include the planning, technical procurement, and execution of control and safety systems, as well as the final FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at the manufacturer.
- Supervising installation and coordinating the commissioning of automation components and systems at construction sites worldwide is also part of your responsibilities.
- You negotiate with customers, suppliers, and market partners within the scope of global customer orders.
- You create technical documents using database-based IT tools.
- You share your knowledge with your team members.
- Additionally, you collaborate closely with our global subsidiaries (e.g., India, USA, Italy).
Your profile
- You have more than three years of professional experience in process control technology, preferably in chemical plant engineering and a degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering or a related field
- You take initiative in your work, act responsibly and goal‑oriented, and place great importance on work quality
- You have expertise in Siemens PCS7 and Siemens automation hardware (Knowledge of other automation systems is a plus)
- Experience with network and fieldbus technology e.g. Profinet, Modbus TCP are beneficial
- Knowledge of IT / OT security and functional safet are beneficial
- Your profile is complemented by an independent and practical approach to work, strong teamwork skills, and a communicative nature
- Since our customer projects are international, you bring willingness to travel worldwide as well as good English skills (at least C1 level)
- You take initiative in your work and always act responsibly and target‑oriented, quality of work is important to you
- Thanks to your intercultural competence, you collaborate successfully with project team members from diverse cultural backgrounds to achieve common goals
