JOB DESCRIPTION We're building a high-impact SaaS platform at the intersection of Battery Design, Development, and Production, and software, focused on solving real-world problems in the battery ecosystem. We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer with strong front-end skills and a passion for building real products. You'll take ideas from concept to live, collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and ship features that customers love. The role is ideal for someone who's built and launched products, understands tradeoffs, and can balance speed with craft. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Own features end-to-end, from wireframes to deployment. - Build high-quality, modular, and performant UI with React.js and any most suitable tools. - Collaborate with product/design to create a simple UX. - Design scalable APIs and backend logic using NestJS and Python. - Architect solutions that are maintainable, extensible, and clean. - Participate in roadmap discussions and contribute to product direction. - Ensure code quality through thorough review, testing, and refactoring. - Constantly find ways to optimize development speed and output quality. JOB REQUIREMENTS Mandatory Qualifications (All must be met): - Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related quantitative discipline, plus 4+ years of software development experience. - Proven track record of building and maintaining real-world applications. - Strong React.js and front-end fundamentals (max performance, accessibility, usability). - Solid backend development experience (NestJS and/or Python is a plus). - Clear understanding of product tradeoffs and agile product development. - Excellent communication skills: you ask questions, raise flags, and explain your thinking. - Startup-ready: comfortable wearing many hats and working fast. - Comfortable with multiple hats, agile, and adaptive. - Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Germany. Bonus skills (nice to have) - Experience at early-stage SaaS. - Experience with project management and collaboration. - Battery and energy storage development. - Microservices or event-driven architecture. - UX/visual design and collaboration. - Experience with modern cloud platforms and cloud services. - A passion for clean code and tooling. TECH STACK - Frontend: React.js (Hooks, Context, modern state management, component libraries). - Backend: NestJS (Node.js), Python/FastAPI. - Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, NoSQL. - Infrastructure: Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions. - Tooling: Figma, Linear.
