The Role
As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the technical integration of large-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar PV projects into the German grid. You will work alongside a senior team of experts who will support your development, provide mentorship, and help you build strong technical foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the grid connection design and analysis for large-scale PV and BESS projects
- Assist in electrical design work for utility-scale BESS systems
- Coordinate with grid operators and contribute to connection applications
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and electrical calculations
- Collaborate closely with senior engineers, project managers, and external partners
- Contribute to grid impact studies, compliance documentation, and connection planning
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Interest in renewable energy, power systems, and grid integration
- Basic understanding of electrical design principles
- Willingness to learn and grow within a specialist team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- German or English proficiency (both preferred)
