About this role
A global power cable manufacturer is seeking a Project Scheduler to join its team in Düsseldorf, Germany.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Scheduler looking to contribute to high-profile engineering and construction projects.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project
- Coordinate and negotiate project planning activities with clients and subcontractors
- Gather and analyse project information required for scheduling and resource planning
- Prepare project schedules, including resource allocation and critical path analysis
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect project changes
- Provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager and Installation Manager
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, site supervisors and subcontractors to ensure scheduling accuracy
- Support the project team to achieve key milestones and delivery targets
Ideal Candidate
- +5 years previous experience in project scheduling
- Fluent English and German, both written and spoken
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project
- Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across complex projects
- Eligible to work in Germany
Preferred
- Experience working on construction projects
- Experience within the power cable, utilities or energy industry
- Knowledge of Primavera scheduling software
