To support growth, they are looking for a solo Financial Accountant to support day-to-day operations in Germany.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and finance operations
Able to work as a standalone finance accountant in Germany and report virtually to a finance director in the Netherlands.
Proficient in DATEV
Business level in German and English

Job Responsibilities:

Support accounting and finance day-to-day operations
Process incoming invoices
Execute payments (bank transfers, direct debits, etc.)
Monitor dunning process and payment terms
Post entries (document and account coding)
Coordinate with tax advisors (monthly closing, tax, VAT returns, annual financial statements, payroll)
Assist in budget preparation and forecasting

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance
Ability to work independently as a sole finance accountant in Germany, reporting virtually to a finance director in the Netherlands
Proficiency in DATEV
Business level proficiency in German and English
