Investment Manager - Renewables

The Role:

• Actively source and evaluate investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on wind and solar projects across the CEE region, leveraging market research, networking, and industry relationships
• Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial modelling, operational assessments, and risk analysis, and prepare clear investment proposals for the Investment Committee
• Manage the full lifecycle of direct equity investments, from structuring (debt and equity) and contract negotiations to closing transactions in greenfield, repowering, and late-stage renewable and energy transition projects in CEE
• Negotiate key project agreements in the CEE region, including SPA, O&M, TCMA, MSA, TSA, and EPC contracts
• Partner with the asset management team to deliver operational enhancements, growth strategies, and long-term value creation
• Monitor industry developments, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic trends relevant to renewable and adjacent sectors
• Maintain strong engagement with limited partners and stakeholders, providing updates on investment strategy, pipeline, and portfolio performance
• Lead and mentor a team of Associates and Analysts within Investment Management

The Person:

• Solid background in renewable energy investments, ideally with experience in the CEE region
• Hands-on exposure to early-stage and greenfield renewable projects, gained at a leading investment firm, IPP, strategic developer, or financial institution (buy-side preferred)
• Proven track record in direct alternative investments and familiarity with private equity transactions
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset, results-driven, with excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing teams
• Degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline
• Fluency in English; knowledge of a CEE language is an advantage
