YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You build consumer-facing software that “just works” in Java
- You are responsible for designing end-to-end distributed systems on the cloud
- You build libraries and tools for our microservices ecosystem
- You work on event-driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies to help you create scalable and resilient software
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- You have a university degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline with proven experience building Cloud native applications
- You have extensive and advanced development experience in Java and Spring Boot
- You have experience designing distributed systems with event-driven Microservices architectures using brokers such as Kafka, NSQ or RabbitMQ
- You are comfortable with AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform as well as observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and IBM Instana to monitor and ensure system reliability
- You possess excellent communication skills and are able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across geo-locations
