(Senior) Technical Product Owner - AI Platform (m/f/d)

In this role, you drive the vision and roadmap for SIXT's central MLOps/LLMOps Platform and AI Service tooling. You empower over 80 Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and product teams to create cutting-edge GenAI applications.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for two platform products: the MLOps/LLMOps Platform and the AI Service (LLM Gateway, Document Ingestion, Observability, internal chatbot platform)
• You set priorities, make tradeoff calls, and stay accountable for the value delivered
• You run the agile cadence (stand-ups, planning, refinement, reviews, retros) and keep the team focused and unblocked
• You moderate and steer technical discussions, grasp the core of the debate, and drive the team to clear decisions
• You represent your users and turn their needs into platform capabilities and adoption
• You manage dependencies and risks across both products and align an international set of stakeholders

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Experience: Proven track record as a Technical Product Owner, TPM, or Agile Delivery Lead for software or platform products
• Ownership: You set direction, prioritize, and drive outcomes rather than just coordinate
• Technical competence: You got a solid understanding of MLOps/LLMOps and platform engineering, enough to steer technical discussions and own technical prioritization
• Great to have: You are familiar with AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock), ML/LLM lifecycles, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, LLM gateways, RAG, and agentic frameworks (e.g. LangGraph, LangChain)
• Communication: You explain complex topics clearly and influence decisions in an international environment
• Languages: You are fluent in English - our working language across an international team and stakeholder environment
