YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

You build consumer‑facing software that “just works” in Java.

You are responsible for designing end‑to‑end distributed systems on the cloud.

You build libraries and tools for our microservices ecosystem.

You work on event‑driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies to help you create scalable and resilient software.

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

Experience: You successfully completed your university degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline and already gained experience in working in technology environments building cloud‑native applications – ideally in a start‑up dynamic setting.

Language: You have development experience in Java and Spring Boot.

Architecture: You have already designed distributed systems or you have worked on Microservices architectures.

Platform: You have extensive experience in Kubernetes, good understanding of event‑driven platforms, pub‑sub and messaging using brokers such as Kafka, NSQ or RabbitMQ.

Communication: Good communication skills are a matter of course for you.
