Role: Software Engineer (All Genders) - Logistics Network Planning Team: Join our dynamic Logistics Network Planning team, where you’ll be at the forefront of shaping the future of Zalando’s logistics operations. By developing and implementing scalable forecasting and planning software, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our logistics operations are not only efficient but also adaptable to changing demands. Your work will have a tangible impact on how we manage capacity, allocate resources, and maintain the seamless delivery experience that our customers expect. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement forecasting and planning software to enhance decision-making and optimise capacity allocation - Create clean, efficient, and maintainable Python code for Logistics Network planning projects - Take responsibility for the entire development lifecycle, including solution design, testing, implementation, and maintenance - In close collaboration with subject matter experts, resolve operational challenges and assist in identifying appropriate solutions to raising issues. - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide status updates, and deliver project milestones.
