Your tasks

  • As Global Export Control Officer (ECO), you are the face of export control for our divisions and make a significant contribution to the legally compliant and efficient implementation of international trade regulations and global standards. You will have the right to issue instructions for divisional governance. 
  • In this role, you will work closely with the global ECO network as well as with governance, process and technical managers and advise on various export control issues.
  • You will monitor business activities, identify potential risks and proactively develop appropriate measures to minimize risks. You will ensure compliance with export control regulations by implementing and enforcing global and national laws and policies for Bosch.
  • Furthermore, you will provide strategic input on export control and advise on export control requirements. You will also coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Also, you will be responsible for managing the blocking and release process for controlled and sensitive exports, including the application for export licenses.
  • Last but not least, you will carry out regular training and awareness measures to raise awareness of export control issues throughout the company.

Your profile

  • Education: completed university studies in (business) law, business administration or a comparable subject
  • Experience and know-how: proven knowledge of export control and professional experience in foreign trade; familiarity with ERP systems and good IT skills (Office, SAP, etc.)
  • Personality and working style: you are a confident and reliable team player with excellent cross-hierarchical communication and interpersonal skills; you bring a cross-functional team spirit and a strong compliance mentality; with intercultural experience, you work in a structured, quality and results-oriented manner, complemented by strong analytical skills
  • Daily work routine: we work flexibly and mobile, 2-3 days per week we are on site together
  • Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English

*In accordance with our regulations, the gross annual salary for this position is at least 117.000 EUR for a 40h week (for a full year of employment and fullfilment of the company´s eligibility requirements). The individual salary depends on your job-specific experience. In addition, you will receive a bonus based on the company's success, as well as employer benefits for the Bosch pension plan. We will be happy to discuss further details of our remuneration package, as well as (remuneration) development opportunities, with you during the application process.
