Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

As a Legal Counsel, you are going to inform, give advice and support our management and other departments regarding company relevant, legal questions of all kind.

Your tasks:

• Drawing up and checking German and mostly English contracts

• Discussion regarding contracts (also in direct contact with the client on site), as well as the legal support of projects

• Legal consultation and support to the management and the specific departments, with special attention to following matters:

  • General Contract and Business Law

  • Sales and Commercial Law

  • Competition Law

  • Antitrust law

  • Data protection

  • Internal compliance measures

  • EU law and partly also international contract law

  • Anglo-American law

• Leading and Coordination of communication with external lawyers

• Binding element to authorities and courts

• Conducting internal trainings regarding compliance topics

• Noticing complex and demanding tasks

Qualifications:

• Degree in law with at least two satisfactory state exams

• Two years of professional experience in the legal department of an international or an economically oriented company Law firm is preferred

• Extensive expertise and practical experience in contract law

• Understanding of economic and technical contexts as well as practical solutions

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as a fast apprehension

• Problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and a high degree of initiative

• Very structured and independent way of working with a pronounced business expertise

• You feel comfortable in a multicultural environment and actively contribute to a team-oriented way of working

• Experience abroad in English-speaking countries would be an advantage

• Language skills

  • German native

  • Fluent in English, spoken, as well as written

  • Further language skills are a plus

  • MS Office
