Business Support Specialist(m/f/d)

Our main business is the manufacture of chemical products, lubricants, engine oils, etc. In particular, many of our products are for the automotive industry, and we offer automotive chemical products such as lubricants and cleaning agents. The company has a base in Germany and a global manufacturing and sales network. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The company is looking for a Business Support Specialist to join its Düsseldorf office. This is not a traditional accounting role. Instead, you will gain a deep understanding of daily business operations across Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and Order Management, and identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and optimize existing processes. You will play a key role in the company's digital transformation journey utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, and emerging AI technologies. JOB REQUIREMENTS COMPETENCY (“Must”) - Business-level English - Experience in process improvement, business operations, or operational excellence initiatives - ERP system experience(Microsoft preferable) - Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 solutions - Ability to analyze and document business workflows - Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills COMPETENCY (“Nice to have”) - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Power BI reporting and analytics experience - Power Automate workflow automation experience - Experience using AI tools such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms - Exposure to Finance, Accounting, Purchasing, or Supply Chain functions - German and/or Japanese language skills Apply online or feel free to contact me directly for more information about this opportunity.
