Internship in Startup Innovation and Venture Capital / Venture Clienting

Your tasks

• As an intern you will be part of a small enthusiastic team within a professional Corporate VC. Our and your goal is to enable partnerships of startups with Bosch and to reach innovation leadership by organizing outside-in innovation through startups. You will support the team along the full value chain of open innovation and get deep insights of the Bosch Group and startup ecosystems.
• You will screen the market, conduct web research, collect and structure data, aggregate information, extract insights and write whitepapers on above-state-of-the-art technologies and future trends.
• Furthermore, you will interview startups and identify great solutions, advanced technologies, innovative business models and real USPs.
• Show initiative and organize an efficient match making process and execute proof of concepts with the best startups in teamwork with Bosch colleagues across all the business units, functions, and international locations.
• You will interview the operational business units of Bosch and identify their specific pain points.
• Last but not least, you support marketing events and promote the activities, tools and knowledge of Open Bosch and our network partners.

Your profile

• Education: studies in the field of Business Administration or comparable
• Experience and Knowledge: competent handling of MS Office
• Personality and Working Practice: you are a communicative, structured, creative, independent and goal-oriented person, who is able to work independently also in a team
• Enthusiasm: enjoying interdisciplinary matters and motivated to interface between corporate and startups
• Languages: business fluent in written and spoken German and English

At the site in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf we work on comprehensive, software-intensive systems for future vehicle architectures and components for vehicle electrical and electronic systems. The division's product portfolio at this site includes such components as surroundings sensors, vehicle computers, driver assistance and interior monitoring systems, as well as systems for automated driving and parking.

At Bosch Security and Safety Systems we work together with our customers and partners on products as diverse as video security, intrusion, fire and voice alarm systems, as well as access control and management systems. Professional audio and conference systems for the transmission of voice, sound and music complete the portfolio.

In addition our colleagues in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf are working for the business unit Automotive Electronics, AIG Planungs- und Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH and Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH.
