Senior Marketing Analyst
About this role
The Marketing Analyst role is part of our Marketing Analytics team, responsible for the monitoring, analysis & trading decisions around performance marketing channels (e.g. Paid Search, Social Media, Display etc.). This team, as part of our holistic Commercial Planning & Trading unit, plays a key role in the daily commercial business steering and ensures that a triple-digit yearly budget is invested in support of our growth ambitions and strategic priorities. Marketing Analytics operates in close collaboration with commercial, marketing, product & engineering colleagues across the company to deliver relevant business insights in a complex, fast-paced environment.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- You act as a key analytical partner for our Trading teams, driving commercial performance through data-driven insights and Marketing investment recommendations.
- You assess the efficiency and effectiveness of our performance marketing channels (e.g. SEA, Meta), identifying opportunities to improve ROI, optimize spend, and support profitable growth across markets.
- You play an active role in budget planning and commercial forecasting, using recent performance trends and market insights to guide investment decisions and steer overall marketing efficiency.
- You translate marketing steering decisions into investment implications and align & validate their impact on growth, profitability, and operations.
- You collaborate closely with Tech and Product teams to ensure alignment on incrementality testing, measurement frameworks, and analytical consistency across the business.
- You perform analyses on various data sources (e.g. Redshift, Databricks, etc.) with a focus on performance marketing investments and their impact, creating steering proposals that support our strategic business goals.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
- You’re proud of your degree (Bachelor, Master, MBA) in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related data-driven equivalent.
- You have 5+ years of relevant work experience in an analytical role (with at least 1-2 years in the marketing domain).
- You have strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
- You have excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively convey insights to the stakeholders, and build a strong network across business units and levels.
- You can independently define problem statements, plan complex analytical projects, and deliver impactful recommendations that drive performance and profitability.
- You have hands-on experience with SQL and working knowledge of Python and a strong interest in automation and scalable analytical solutions.
- You have hands-on experience building visualizations and dashboards with strong stakeholder centricity, using tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, or Looker.
- Your oral and written English is business fluent.
