Strategy & Product - Senior Associate (all genders)

You will have the exciting opportunity to shape the future of Chase bank in Germany & beyond - whether through planning new product and market entries or assessing, shaping and implementing strategic decisions about product commercial value proposition.

As an Associate in the International Consumer Banking (ICB), you will play an important role in our local German team – at intersection between strategy and product, working closely with senior business stakeholders in the International Consumer, located both in Berlin and London.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research (desktop, customer insights, expert interviews) showcasing retail financial services product features, journeys and commercial offer of competitors
• Define product strategy, embedded in overall Chase strategy, to drive customer acquisition and x-sell in its markets
• Collaborate across teams (e.g. product development, marketing, design, controls, strategy, finance) to devise go-to-market strategy and implementation plan
• Run meetings (interviews, workshops) to validate proposed solutions or communicate the direction of change
• Monitor, analyse and provide updates about product performance, moves by competition and customer preference

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

• Proficient in data analytics (e.g. advanced pricing modelling) & problem-solving
• Proficient in English, knowledge of German
• Basic knowledge of the retail financial services industry in Germany and / or in other large EU countries
• Prior industry experience, working in a retail financial services, tech industry or consulting (with financial services focus)
• Experience collaborating and communicating with multiple and diverse (seniority, function, location) stakeholders
• Curiosity, willingness to learn about various aspects of retail financial services

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• In-depth understanding of digital retail financial services industry (e.g. customer needs, competitive landscape, product offering)
• Understanding of the retail bank P&L and balance sheet
