Internship in the Digitalization of Materials
About this role
In the group for material and heat-treatment technologies metals, we are looking for a motivated student to support in projects in the context of digitalization of material data.
Your tasks
During your internship, you will develop workflow tools to process and store material data.
You will identify existing open-source tools related to the digitalization of material data.
Last but not least, you will create a database system for material data.
Your profile
- Education: studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Computational Engineering or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: with handling and storing material data; programming (preferrably Python), Git and databases are advantageous
- Personality and Working Practice: you are a proactive individual who can work in a structured manner within a team
- Languages: good in written and spoken German and English
