About this role
Your tasks
Bosch Building Technologies is one of the largest system integrators for safety and security systems in Germany, including domains like fire detection, intrusion detection, video surveillance and many other. As system integrator, Bosch is operating a large field service and remote service organisation, including a custom build ticket system, managing several tens of thousands of service tickets per year.
- In this Master thesis you will apply state-of-the-art data science and AI methods on the ticket data base.
- You will also test these methods for their capability to extract meaningful business KPIs from the ticket database.
- Furthermore, you will develop custom approaches to group and interpret the specific domain data.
- Finally, you will propose a viable workflow for KPI extraction for at least one business KPI.
Your profile
- Education: Master studies in the field of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: first experiences with NLP (Natural Language Processing), Deep Learning and Python; experience in Knime is a plus
- Personality and Working Practice: you are a curious person with a self-sufficient working style and willingness to test different approaches
- Work Routine: mobile working possible, at least one on-site day per week in Düsseldorf required
- Languages: good in German, English is optional
