PhD in AAS-based, AI-driven process automation in Design/Engineering of Hydraulic Systems
About this role
Your tasks
As a PhD (f/m/div.), you research in the field of next Gen fluid system design and development through innovating a Data and AI driven process design and automation for rapid and effective development, tailoring and implementation of hydraulic systems. Therefore you identify potential and weaknesses in current fluid technology design, technology, software and development processes within different customer use cases in order to optimize speed and massively reduce efforts (e.g. drawings, programming, bill of material). Your tasks will include creating and implementing a solid Software and Architecture foundation, focus on development process performance that explores the possibilities and limitations of AAS and AI, corresponding software and data architecture. One major use case will be the design and tailoring of didactic fluid systems. Furthermore you will be part of university and industrial driven research projects (e.g. Fluid-AI, Fluid 4.0) to support and win future international fluid university projects in all phases.
Your profile
- Education: above-average completion of master’s/diploma studies in engineering, data science or a comparable qualification
- Experience and Knowledge: mechanical Engineering & Fluid - Knowledge; Experience in AI & Data Science and Research (e.g. AAS, AI), Work experience in Hydraulic Branches & development of Applications like Mining, Support and Application Knowledge of Engineering & Development of hydraulic Systems & environments, Knowledge & Experience in Data Analytics and applying AI within hydraulic systems
- Personality and Working Practice: Quick comprehension, high quality standards and initiative, open to international cooperation, committed, innovative, conceptual
