About this role

Tasks

The Steering Systems department develops the latest innovative steering systems for front and rear axles and for autonomous driving functions.

Enrich our Steer-by-Wire team as a working student in the development of the next generation of innovative electronics and software. In close coordination with internal and external development partners, challenging tasks await you here, and you will gain unique insights into the development of Mercedes-Benz AG vehicles.

These challenges include:

  • Independently designing, developing, implementing, and executing tests on the hardware-in-the-loop test bench
  • Supporting the development of new software-in-the-loop test benches
  • Support sub-project management testing
  • Creating reports and status reports
  • Maintaining the release documentation

The position can start from January 2026.

Qualifications

  • Course of studies in the field of engineering, technical economics or a comparable course of studies
  • Confident German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident handling of MS Office
  • Knowledge of agile tools (JIRA, Confluence etc.) desirable
  • Commitment, ability to work in a team and willingness to learn
  • Analytical and strategic way of thinking
