Role Assistant Store Manager (all genders) – Hamburg Responsibilities - Optimize staffing and area allocation; act as store manager in absence of store management. - Lead and develop a team of up to 20 employees, overseeing hiring, scheduling, training and onboarding. - Ensure optimal merchandise management of the sales floor and implement measures to improve KPIs. - Create an ideal shopping atmosphere by viewing the store from the customer’s perspective. - Lead with Zalando values through transparent and employee‑focused leadership. Qualifications - Several years of retail experience and a completed commercial apprenticeship. - Proven experience in leading staff, including performance feedback, shift and vacation planning. - Strong initiative, decision‑making and organizational skills. - Good analytical understanding and knowledge of relevant KPIs with ability to derive actions.
