Job Description

The Payments Sales Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting financial institutions across Europe by promoting sales and managing deal execution. This position requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and a proactive, client-focused approach. As part of the Payments Financial Institutions Group (FIG Payments) DACH & CEE team, you'll manage existing client relationships and build new business through the Wholesale Payments value proposition. Collaborating with the Global Corporate Bank and other business lines, you'll help manage bank-wide client relationships and make a real impact in wholesale payments.

Responsibilities include managing existing client relationships, building new business and new clients through the Wholesale Payments value proposition and product suite. The team works closely with the Global Corporate Bank and all other lines of business to manage bank-wide client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

- Support Sales teams through project work and analysis whilst supporting the team to ensure clients are receiving agreed services.
- Support the team to manage end to end deal execution including onboarding, KYC, product and billing set up.
- Prepare and review marketing material and proposals, ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with Sales, Product and Implementation teams to collate relevant information.
- Analyse key revenue and pipeline data to deliver reports to senior management in addition to conducting research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients.
- Run client-focused internal projects and set up and maintain client data.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with relevant partners (Implementation, Product Management, Customer Service) to deliver to the business.

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Strong organizational, time management and planning skills. A track record of accurate execution and ownership
  • Excellent communication skills with proven ability to adapt to internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated career progression, proving ability and desire to develop client and technical skills to ultimately assume a Sales/Relationship Management role
  • Experience in a front office environment and regular client interaction/strong client focus
  • Strong analytical, technical, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment, spanning global time zones and working hours
  • Able to operate in a matrix environment where you can demonstrate strong partnership in achieving your goals

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience

  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Background in Payments is preferred.
  • Fluency in German is required.
