This is an exciting opportunity to join the Payments Corporate & e-Commerce Sales team.
As a Payments Corporate & E-Commerce Sales - Analyst within the Payments Corporate & e-Commerce Sales team, you will have the exciting opportunity to support Sales Managers in managing client relationships and promoting sales. You will be part of the local coverage team working closely with the local and regional Payments and Corporate Banking teams, as well as with clients and internal partners, assisting them with maintaining, developing, execution and service of client relationships.
You will be involved in preparing client research and presentations, industry analysis, and project assignments, as well as reviewing and analyzing transactional data. This role provides a unique opportunity to understand the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage, and regional/global setup. You will also contribute as the voice of the client in cross-functional partner engagement to ensure alignment with broader firm-wide interests and the clients' objectives. This role is based in Frankfurt and requires fluency in German and English
- Support Sales team on sales pitch materials
- Prepare client research, industry analysis and project assignments
- Assist Sales team to ensure that clients are receiving agreed services
- Review and analyse transactional data to identify key trends, risks, pricing/billing inefficiencies.
- Support the team to manage the end-to-end sales cycle including pricing and fee billing set up
- Understand the client's account structure, cash flow, product usage and regional/global setup
- Prepare client account plans, briefing memos and portfolio management reporting
- Contribute as the voice of the client in cross-functional partner engagement to ensure alignment with broader firm wide interests and the clients objectives
- Develop relationships with the team, key stakeholders they are supporting
- Support Sales managers with preparation of proposals and material for internal approvals
- Conduct research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients. Provide fundamental research on current and target market sizing by region
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions
- Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Aspire to develop the necessary sales and technical skills to ultimately assume a Sales role
- Results oriented. Able to work under pressure within tight timeframes
- Fluent in German and English
