Role Overview:
The Sales Manager/Sales Director will be responsible for launching and growing operations in Germany, with a key focus on IT consulting services in the banking and insurance sectors. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the market entry strategy, drive business development, and establish a sustainable client base, with potential for career advancement within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the market entry strategy for Germany, focusing on identifying growth opportunities in IT consulting for the banking and insurance sectors.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive sales funnel, driving business development activities to build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.
- Collaborate closely with the technical consulting teams to oversee service delivery, ensuring high-quality client engagements.
- Work alongside the CEO and team to develop and implement a localized business plan, including recruitment strategies to build a capable German team.
- Leverage existing client relationships and continue to expand the company’s network within the German market.
- Report directly to the CEO, maintaining open lines of communication on strategy, market insights, and growth progress.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in IT market development and sales within the German market.
- Proven track record in business development, ideally within IT consulting, with a focus on building client relationships in the banking and insurance sectors.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, highly motivated to grow a new market and team.
- Ability to work independently, with an understanding of the German business environment and regulatory landscape.
- Proficiency in German and English.
