Air Freight Import Coordinator (m/f/d)

Overview A Japanese company in the international logistics industry is hiring for an Air Freight Import Coordinator (m/f/d) to join Air Freight team at Frankfurt am Main location (Cargo City Süd). Responsibilities - Handling import orders, including customs-related processing - Preparation of import, and delivery documentation (e.g. import documents, delivery notes) - Monitoring shipments, including arrival checks and airline tracking - Coordination of delivery schedules and appointments - Billing customers and agents domestically and internationally - Invoice review and verification - Handling letters of credit transactions - Communication with customers, agents, and worldwide offices - Management of customer complaints, claims, and damage cases - Processing of dangerous goods shipments and preparation of ADR documentation - Providing telephone-based customer support, including rate and appointment coordination Requirements - Completed commercial training with a focus on logistics or freight forwarding - At least 2 years of operational experience in air freight import and/or export - Sound knowledge of customs-related processes and documentation - Careful and structured working style with strong attention to detail - Service-oriented mindset combined with self-motivation and reliability - Good organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team - Fluent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken Benefits - We offer you a secure job in a dynamic industry and an international work environment - You can expect compensation above the standard rate - You’ll enjoy a flexible work schedule within a 39-hour workweek - 30 days of vacation - You’ll receive comprehensive onboarding - You’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of our bike leasing program and receive numerous employee discounts - Capital-forming benefits (VwL) - Company pension plan (BAV) Apply online for more information about this opportunity.
