Groups & clubs in Frankfurt

Kraft is a running club operating across 10 German cities. Runs are organised three times per week and welcome runners of every ability. 

The Initiative Schwarze Menschen in Deutschland (Initiative for Black People in Germany or ISD) was founded in 1985 and is the oldest such organisation in the country. The group highlights structural oppression with the aim of improving the lives of Black people living in Germany.

Mietendeckel Jetzt (Rent Cap Now) is a nationwide campaign for the German government to enforce a rent cap. The organisation has chapters across 19 German cities.

The Central Council of Muslims in Germany (ZMD) has between 15.000 and 20.000 members from all over the world. While the organisation is based in Cologne, it has active groups all over the country.

The International Choir Frankfurt was established in 1994 and is run by Welsh Choirmaster Rhodri Britton. Britton leads the group of around 120 singers.

The Newcomers Network is the largest networking platform for international people in Frankfurt and the wider Rhine-Main region. The organisation also holds an annual fair in Frankfurt.

Frankfurt Expats does what it says on the tin: the organisation offers advice and plans meet-ups for internationals living in the western German city. 

Expat Improv puts on weekly improvisation classes in English and are open to anyone, even if you don't have any prior acting experience. Expat Improv also hosts English Improv Open Stages in the Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Frankfurt areas.
