Your Role:

As part of the digitalization initiative of Carl Zeiss, be responsible for technical alignment and definition of requirements of agile projects within the frame platform. Actively drive the development of the projects being part of the agile release train (Scaled Agile Framework -SAFe) and in agreement with the Product Owner and the Solution Architect, define functional and non-functional specifications for the application. Lead the internal and external development resources, and coordinate deployments, testing and release of the application including documentation.

Your Profile:

  • Diploma or Master in Computer Science/ software Engineering or comparable educational background
  • Diploma or master on Computer Science / Software Engineering or comparable educational background.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, where you gathered strong experience in designing and developing cloud-based web applications in an agile environment.
  • Excellent kledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and an understanding of the limitations, pitfalls and benefits; kledge in AWS is a plus.
  • Strong experience in creating complex architectural models and leading teams during implementation.
  • Strong experience with the development of both web-based and local solutions and the full software development life-cycle. Experience in the development of medical software is of advantage.
  • A proven track record designing and implementing secure systems handling sensitive data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to enable and drive teams.
  • Strong communication skills capable to interact across hierarchy levels of an international organization.
  • Fluent in English must and German preferable.
