Working Student (f/m/d) - Chief of Staff Office - Business Data Cloud Fabric & Data
About this role
We help the world run better. At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging – but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong.
What You’ll Build
As a Working Student (f/m/d) in the Chief of Staff Office of BDC Fabric & Data (part of SAP's Data & Analytics organization within Product & Engineering), you will work directly alongside the Chief of Staff and support the full breadth of the role. You will gain hands-on insight into how a large engineering organization of 900+ people is steered - from strategic planning and leadership coordination to internal communication and workforce topics. This is a rare opportunity to see executive-level operations up close and to take ownership of your own task packages.
In this role, you will:
- Support the preparation of executive meetings, leadership syncs, and quarterly business reviews - including agendas, briefing documents, and follow-up tracking
- Create and refine presentations and communication materials in Microsoft PowerPoint, following SAP branding standards
- Help prepare recurring formats such as All-Employee Meetings, Town Halls, and Service Reviews
- Analyze data and build reports (e.g. workforce, budget, KPIs/OKRs) using Excel and SAP analytics tools, and translate findings into clear, actionable summaries
- Research and consolidate information on strategic and organizational topics for leadership decision-making
- Support project tracking and follow-ups across the Chief of Staff's portfolio, keeping documentation in SharePoint and Jira up to date
- Take on independent task packages and contribute your own ideas to continuously improve how the office operates
What you bring
We're looking for a proactive, well-organized student (f/m/d) who enjoys working across many topics at once and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Enrollment as a student (f/m/d) at a university or university or university or university or university of applied sciences, ideally in Business Administration / Management, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
- Confident command of MS Office - especially PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to structure information clearly and concisely
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, combined with a self-organized, proactive, and reliable working style
- Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a strong plus
- Willingness to work on-site in Walldorf on a regular basis (occasional remote work possible)
- Discretion and a sense of responsibility when handling confidential leadership and organizational topics
Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) and the motivation to explore how they can accelerate day-to-day work - in line with SAP's All-in-on-AI ambition
- First experience in a business, consulting, communications, or project-support context
- Interest in data, analytics, and enterprise software
- Programming knowledge is not required for this role
