Role: Finding clothes that truly fit is one of the biggest challenges in e‑commerce fashion. The Size & Fit team creates game‑changing solutions to help Zalando’s 50+ million customers find the right fit through innovation, science and great customer experiences. The multidisciplinary team of applied scientists, engineers, product managers, designers, analysts, business developers and fashion experts works across Berlin and Zurich. As a Berlin‑based Principal Product Designer, you will work across Size & Fit and Proposition teams, shaping experiences for assortments such as Sports, Beauty, Kids, Re‑commerce and Designer. Responsibilities: - Partner closely with cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver customer‑centric experiences. - Shape innovative customer‑facing experiences and personalize moments across the journey. - Envision and prototype data‑driven solutions to help customers find their perfect match. - Quickly prototype and test ideas, turning assumptions into validated solutions. - Mentor others, provide feedback and share skills at community events. Qualifications: - Exceptional UI/UX skills with a track record of raising quality standards. - Experience in workshop facilitation, prototyping, user research and UX writing. - Ability to define problem space, set vision and translate strategy into cohesive experiences. - Strong knowledge of mature design systems, accessibility and data‑informed design. - Excellent communication, influencing stakeholders and collaborating with product, engineering and data science.
