Principal Product Designer (all genders) - Size & Fit - Parental leave cover

Role: The Size & Fit team is on a mission to solve the challenge of finding clothes that truly fit in e-commerce fashion. Our multidisciplinary team brings together applied scientists, engineers, product managers, designers, analysts, business developers and fashion experts across Berlin and Zurich. As a Berlin-based Principal Product Designer, this role spans across Size & Fit and Proposition teams. You will lead the Virtual Fitting Room experience, helping customers try on clothes with personalized avatars and providing personalized size advice. This is a parental cover position with a 1-year limited contract. Responsibilities: Partner closely with teams across disciplines and levels to deliver customer-centric experiences. Shape future innovative customer-facing experiences across the customer journey. Envision new ways to use product and customer data to help customers find their perfect match. Prototype and test quickly to turn assumptions into decisions and validate solutions. Raise the bar by mentoring others, giving thoughtful feedback, and sharing skills at community events. Qualifications: You bring exceptional UI/UX skills and raise quality standards within the team. Your toolkit includes workshop facilitation, prototyping, user research and UX writing. Comfortable in complex problem spaces, you shape long-term product direction, keep success metrics in focus, and turn strategy into cohesive experiences. You work with mature design systems and accessibility, iterate to create data-informed solutions, and articulate the why behind design decisions. Collaborate effectively with Product, Engineering, and Data Science, contributing to the design community.
