Working Student as React Developer in App Shopping (m/f/d)

What can you expect?

• Build and maintain stunning interfaces using React and other modern web frameworks
• Build backend architectures to create, present and mutate data in our databases using GraphQL / REST
• Build and maintain our infrastructure using Terraform / ogle Cloud Platform / GitHub Actions and other CI tools
• Add reliable unit, integration and e2e tests
• Develop our content and configuration experience on web devices in Shopify
• Collaborate with our User Interface Designers to build and improve our Shopify web app
• Stay informed about current technologies and recent developments in web and media technologies
• Participate in the decision-making process
• Challenge conventional solutions and wisdom

What should you bring along?

• 2+ years of software development, web development or equivalent expertise
• Background in JavaScript, ideally React, or equivalent
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Deep understanding of web technology
• Fluent in English, German is a plus

Recruiting Process

2. Meet the team: You'll get to meet our team members. We value team fit over everything else. This also gives you the chance to see whether you'd enjoy working with us.
3. Technical assessment: You will send us a piece of code you've written before (can be a pet project or a code challenge). We'll use that to have a conversation about which decisions you've taken and why.
4. Final conversation: The team and you are going to chat more about the position, what you value, what you took away from the interviews so far, and whatever is on your mind.
