About this role

Your responsibilities

As a HSE Project Manager, you will be responsible for all health, safety, and environmental aspects throughout the entire project lifecycle - from bid phase to execution. Your responsibilities include:

Developing and issuing the HSE Project Program, defining the core components of the HSE management system
Ensuring effective communication and coordination with Client Representatives
Contributing to the preparation of procedures and work processes across all functional areas
Establishing a schedule for audits and reviews to ensure consistent HSE surveillance
Conducting regular evaluations of HSE procedures in collaboration with the Project Management team
Ensuring all project personnel are aware of and aligned with HSE objectives and requirements
Working closely with discipline leads and managers on all HSE-related matters

Your profile

We are seeking a highly experienced and committed HSE professional with a strong background in industrial project environments. The ideal candidate will bring:

A degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
At least 10 years of professional experience in HSE roles within large-scale industrial projects, preferably in the electrochemical or chemical industry
Proven track record in managing HSE aspects during project execution, including site-based operations and commissioning
Solid understanding of international HSE standards and regulatory frameworks
Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 50%
A confident and adaptable approach to working in diverse cultural settings, ideally with prior experience in Asian and Middle Eastern regions
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
