About this role
Your tasks
- During your internship, you will actively work on innovative solutions for digital production and logistics.
- You will support us in creating digital simulation models of partially and highly automated production lines in Plant Simulation for innovative Bosch products, such as components for autonomous driving and electromobility.
- Beyond modeling, programming production processes and special logics will be a core part of your main tasks.
- You will also assist in the new development and programming of standard module blocks in Plant Simulation for our international network. For this purpose, you will be fully integrated into the daily work routine, conduct technical discussions with customers, and coordinate with various departments like project management, design, software application, and production planning.
- Following the simulation execution, you will evaluate the results against relevant key figures, interpret them, and, if necessary, derive holistic optimization measures.
- Furthermore, you will then prepare the corresponding management presentations and communicate the results to decision-makers.
- Finally, you will gain comprehensive insights into the innovative planning of production lines and actively work on topics related to the digital transformation of engineering in special machineries.
Your profile
- Education: studies in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: strong IT affinity combined with good production understanding
- Personality and Working Practice: you are self-reliant, motivated, and have a thorough approach to work
- Languages: very good in English and good in German
