Internship Supplier Quality Assurance

Your tasks
Are you a highly motivated student eager to make a tangible impact on product quality within a dynamic international environment? Join our Purchasing Quality Department at the Mobility Aftermarket business unit! You will gain invaluable experience contributing to the quality assurance of a wide array of components, including Brake Components, Spark Plugs, Rotating Machines, Portfolio Goods, Filters, and Energy/Battery products.
- During your internship, you will support the planning, tracking, and escalation of supplier audits across our business unit's extensive supplier database. Close communication with external suppliers and internal customers will be a core part of your daily activities.
- You will actively follow up on, support, and apply Production and Product Approvals (PPA) through electronic Initial Sampling Inspection Reports (eISIR). This includes managing new product releases, engineering changes, and re-qualifications.
- Furthermore, you will engage directly in the 8D problem-solving process by requesting, tracking, reviewing/assessing, and escalating supplier complaints within the SAP R/3 system.
- You will conduct thorough data analysis within quality processes (e.g., claim and investigation processes) and contribute to the automatization of these, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Finally, you will provide support in ongoing digitalization projects (e.g., developing Power BI-Dashboards, creating PowerApps) and actively contribute to the development and optimization of quality processes, thereby helping the team achieve our strategic targets.
Your profile
- Education: Bachelor studies in the field of Engineering, Production Engineering, Business Engineering, Quality Engineering/ Management or comparable
- Experience and Knowledge: in Quality Management; very good MS Office knowledge (especially Excel); SAP skills are an advantage
- Personality and Working Practice: you communicate effectively, work in a structured and self-motivated manner, and maintain a clear overview of ongoing projects
- Languages: fluent English, additional language is an advantage (e.g. German, Spanish, Chinese)
