An exciting opportunity has opened up with a well-established energy developer based in Munich, and it could be a defining next step in your career.
The business has been active in the German market for over 15 years, delivering complex energy infrastructure projects nationwide. In 2025, it entered a new phase of growth following significant investment from a global private equity and infrastructure fund with close to $300bn in assets under management. With strong financial backing and a clear long-term strategy, the company is scaling its BESS portfolio across Germany.
To support this growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to take ownership of the planning, delivery and commissioning of large-scale BESS projects, from early-stage development through to construction handover.
The Role

Full lifecycle project management of utility-scale BESS projects in Germany

Managing timelines, budgets, contractors, and technical stakeholders

Coordinating permitting, grid connection, EPC partners, and suppliers

Acting as the key interface between internal teams, investors, and external partners

Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards
The Ideal Profile

Proven experience delivering large-scale energy or infrastructure projects (BESS, renewables, power, or industrial construction experience highly valued)

Strong understanding of construction, commissioning, and project governance

Comfortable operating in a growing organisation where processes are evolving

Fluent in German and English

Willingness to be hands-on and take ownership in a fast-scaling environment
