Accounting and Finance Specialist/ Manager (m/f/d)

Company Overview

The Japanese leading company in motor and component manufacturing is looking for Accounting and Finance Specialist or Manager (m/f/d). They specialize in producing precision instruments and measurement devices. Their products are used in various industries, including automotive, electronics, and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Account payable and receivable
• invoice issuance and cash management
• Preparation and reporting of balance sheets (BS) and profit and loss statements (PL)
• Preparation and reporting of financial statements for monthly and annual closing
• Payroll calculation
• Communication with tax authorities and auditors
• Communication with the headquarters in Japan
• Preparation of materials for internal audits

Qualifications:

• Business-level proficiency in German.
• Business-level proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance related.
• Knowledge of German tax law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
