Accounting Supervisor/Manager (m/f/d)

OVERVIEW

They are looking for a committed colleague as Accounting Supervisor/Manager (m/f/d) in Germany to join their finance team in Frankfurt am Main.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle weekly payment transactions.
• Report to bank and check bank balances.
• Keep track of petty cash for both office and personal use.
• Issue financial statements for customers, subsidiaries, and agents.
• Arrange payments.
• Create profit, warehouse, and management reports.
• Organize and support audits.
• File personal income taxes for overseas residents.
• Daily Tasks such as Mail checks, Document collection and invoice filing, Email responses, Supplier invoice and exchange rate checks, Bank reconciliation and petty cash management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Successfully completed studies in business administration with a focus on accounting/finance or comparable
• Knowledge of German GAAP
• Knowledge of German tax law
• ERP knowledge
• Knowledge of MS Excel
• Team leadership experience a plus
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• It is advantageous if you can speak Japanese
• Sense of responsibility and solution-oriented thinking
• Structured, independent and conscientious way of working with a high degree of precision
• Ability to work in a team
• Good communication and cooperation skills
