Finance / Accounting Project Manager (m/f/d) – Invoice Management

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You act as the central point of contact between Finance, Tax, Legal, and Tech, ensuring seamless collaboration across all stakeholders
• You lead projects end-to-end — from requirement engineering through to go-live — covering invoicing systems, ERP solutions, and customer-facing or in-house software
• You handle tax and accounting consultations and assess the impact of project decisions on finance and compliance processes
• You ensure compliance with regulatory and tax standards and take responsibility for approvals prior to implementation
• You maintain structured documentation across all relevant repositories and support the upkeep of existing solutions
• You manage ad-hoc requests including product changes, quality assurance, and compliance topics

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Education: You hold a completed vocational training or a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience: You bring 4+ years in project management or business analysis within a finance, tax, or ERP transformation environment
• Expertise: You have a solid understanding of accounting and tax regulations as well as proven experience in requirement engineering
• Collaboration: You have a strong track record of coordinating cross-functional teams, including tech, business, legal, and tax stakeholders
• Tools/Systems: You are familiar with invoicing systems such as SAP, e-invoicing standards, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Communication: You bring strong stakeholder management and moderation skills, and you are fluent in English — German is a plus
