Accounts Receivable Agent B2B (m/f/d) - Dutch speaker

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Agent B2B (m/f/d) to join our Team BENELUX. With persistence, strong communication skills and a positive mindset, you will ensure our invoices are paid within approved payment terms – keeping our receivables healthy and our customers well-managed. Ideally, you bring some experience in accounting, finance, or credit control – but candidates with a commercial/business apprenticeship (e.g. office management, banking (m/f/d)) and a strong affinity for numbers are equally welcome.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You manage a dedicated portfolio of B2B customers, acting as their primary point of contact for all accounts receivable matters
• You ensure invoices are collected within approved payment terms, proactively reducing outstanding balances and directly contributing to clear KPI targets
• You handle all customer communication and dunning processes (phone, email, and letter), maintaining a professional and solution-focused approach even in challenging conversations
• You reconcile and clarify customer accounts with accuracy and full ownership – no detail slips through your net
• You collaborate closely with internal departments as well as external partners and service providers, acting as a reliable point of contact at all levels
• You identify process improvement opportunities and actively contribute ideas to optimize our workflows

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Education: You bring a completed commercial/business apprenticeship or several years of experience in a comparable role in accounts receivable, finance, or credit control
• Soft Skills: You combine persistence and assertiveness with a solution-oriented mindset – you don't give up until a solution is found, while keeping the customer relationship intact
• Attention to Detail: You have a sharp eye for numbers and immediately notice when something doesn't add up
• Language: You communicate fluently in Dutch (C2 level) and English, with strong negotiation skills for both internal and external stakeholders; German is a plus
• Work Style: You work in an efficient, thorough and self-driven way, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a KPI-driven environment
• Tools/Systems: You are confident in MS Office, especially Excel
