Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

COMPANY OVERVIEW A Japanese chemical manufacturing company in Berlin is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join a three-person accounting team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Ensure compliance with German GAAP (HGB) and support reporting under international accounting standards (IFRS preferred) - Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and closing activities - Coordinate and support external audits and statutory reporting - Work closely with internal stakeholders and the headquarters team JOB REQUIREMENTS - Minimum 5 years of accounting experience - Strong knowledge of HGB and international accounting standards - Hands-on experience with DATEV - Proven experience supporting external audits - Fluent German and English (written and spoken) - Japanese language skills are an advantage Apply online for more information about this opportunity.
