English Teacher at bilingual Secondary School

For our Secondary School in Hamburg we are looking for a motivated and qualified English Teacher (in full-time or part-time, at the beginning of the school year 2024/2025).

Your Responsibilities

• Preparation and follow-up as well as organisational and pedagogical design of lessons based on our benchmarked curriculum 
• Examining and holistically preparing students for written and oral German school leaving exams
• Development and implementation of new pedagogical concepts and enriching teaching with digital media
• Active support and advice for students and parents with individual challenges
• Regular methodological and didactical training

Requirements:

• Certified training as a Secondary teacher with a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in English, a Certificate of Education and a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience working in a Secondary school setting, ideally with teaching and lesson planning experience 
• English at C2 level and ideally a good command of German for everyday use
• Interest and willingness to engage in the development of new educational concepts
• Passion for your subject and the ability to inspire your students to enjoy it too
